Children from St. Mary’s transfer to a number of different secondary schools at the age of eleven.

These include Church of England and Community schools in Westminster and in adjoining boroughs.

Some children transfer to the independent sector.

At the beginning of their time in Year 6, the Head Teacher holds a meeting for the parents of these children to explain how the process works and what choice of school they will have.

Parents are encouraged to visit secondary schools so that they can make suitable applications on the basis of what they have seen and heard.
