Well done to Year
5 for their contribution to the ‘World in our City’ performance at
the Royal Albert Hall last week. It was a great occasion in a
fantastic building and something they will remember for the rest of
their lives. It was really moving to see so many young people from
so many schools performing with such confidence.
Half Term
We break up on
Friday for our Half Term holiday. Please remember to collect
children from class at 1.15 - and have a good holiday; hopefully,
the weather will be warm and sunny!
Church Service
St Mary’s Church
will be organising an end of term service for us on Thursday. This
is at the Church and starts at 9.30. All classes (apart from Year 4
who are at the Science Museum) from Year 1 upwards will be there and
all parents are welcome to come along, too.
Next Term
Looking forward to
next term, please note that the first day of term for the children
is
TUESDAY,
8th June.
On Thursday and
Friday during that week we also have the ‘Life Education Bus’
visiting. All classes will have sessions in the bus and this
supplements our PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education)
curriculum.
Well Done
To Song Song from
Year 6 who won the Chess Club competition.
Singing
Does your child
love to sing? Would they like to join a local choir? Can they attend
weekly rehearsals? If so collect a form from Miss Bowden or the
music notice board in the main corridor. Take your completed form to
the first rehearsal of the Westminster Junior Singers on Wednesday,
9th June at the St Marylebone School (4pm to 5pm).
