We’ve got a
pretty action-packed week planned for science week! See ‘This Week’
for the schedule. A farm is visiting the school today, we have a
company bringing some birds of prey, a theatre workshop on forces
and an inflatable planetarium! The idea of the week is to get the
children excited about science with a particular emphasis on the
natural sciences - animals. Thanks once again to our Friends
Association who are funding the visiting farm.
This
should be another fun week at St Mary’s and, hopefully, we’ll all
learn something new.
Thank You
I’d just like to
say a big thank you to everyone who came along to our Governors and
Parents Evening last Tuesday. I’d especially like to thank our
Friends Association, who coordinated the refreshments on the
evening, all those people who brought in food to share and Sian
Rickett, who worked really hard to produce a very slick DVD
explaining the story making projects we are involved with - not sure
that’s anywhere in her job description!
Sports Relief
We had
an interesting, fun day on Friday and all of the children were
involved in running the ‘St Mary’s Marathon.’ Everybody contributed
in some way or another and we raised £192.08 to be donated to Sports
Relief. Thank you.
End of Term 4
We break
up for Easter
next

Our last day is
THURSDAY, 1st April.
Please
remember to collect children from classes at
1.15.
