Hopefully,
everybody should have received an invitation to this last week. This
is an opportunity to hear some more about the storytelling project
we are involved with - we’re planning to show some video from the
week as well as give you some more background information. We’re
asking you to bring food, if you can, to share afterwards. Our
Friends Association are kindly helping with that. We’d like to start
at about 6.20, so please get here between 6.00 and 6.20, especially
if you are bringing food. The Storytelling part should last no more
than 30 minutes and then there’ll be time to share food and meet our
school governors.
Sports Relief Day
It’s Sports Relief
Day this Friday and we’re asking the children to come dressed in
Sports kit, or dressed as their favourite sports person, for a
minimum £1 donation to Sports Relief. During the day the children
will take part in the St Mary’s Sports Relief Marathon. Each class
will run a laps in the playground so that, when we add up the
distance each child has run, it will be equivalent to a marathon.
Sports Relief is a great charity that supports people in need both
in the UK and abroad.
Free Concerts
Chamber Zone, a
collaboration between the Wigmore Hall and Cavatina Chamber Music
Trust, are offering free tickets to anyone aged between 8 and 25 for
Chamber Music concerts in April, June and July. There’s a list of
dates on the Music Room window, or you can find the full programme
at:

End of Term 4
