Our ‘Governor of
the Week’ is Peter Wilson.
Peter Wilson was appointed by the PCC (Parish Council) as a Governor
of St Mary’s in the early 1990s. He used to live around the corner
and worshipped at St Mary’s Church, but has since moved away to be
closer to his children’s schools. Peter’s main responsibilities are
as Treasurer to the Governors and as monitor of the ICT curriculum –
he meets periodically with the ICT Coordinator to provide moral
support and ensure that the school and teachers are properly
equipped to teach this very important subject. He works as a
management consultant in the developing world
More 'Governor
stuff!'
On another
School Governor matter, you may remember that Len Clark, our Chair
of Governors, was awarded an MBE in the New Year Honours List. I’m
very pleased to tell you that another of our Governors, Lady Harriot
Tennant, also just received an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours!
Well done, Harriot!

“The classes have been exceptional; such a pleasure to teach, such
fun to work with. Their emotional intelligence shines! Thank you all
for your help and support.”
