Well done to all
of the children in our Nursery and Reception Class who performed
their Nativity Play last Thursday afternoon. The children did really
well and it was nice to see so many parents and family members
there. I’d also like to thank the staff - it’s a lot of extra work
and I really appreciate their goodwill.
At the end of the
performance we collected money for the West London Day Centre. We’ve
done this for the past couple of years, sharing the money between
the Day Centre and the St Mungo’s Rolling Shelter.
St Mungo’s have
now moved into purpose built accommodation in Islington so all of
the money we collect will be donated to the Day Centre this year to
support the work they do with homeless people. Last year we raised
just under £400 and it would be amazing if we could match, or even
beat, that this year.
Celebrations
If you were
celebrating Eid last Friday and over the weekend I hope you had a
good time, and also any families who celebrated Thanksgiving on
Thursday.
Sunday was also
the beginning of Advent and so we ‘officially’ move into the
Christmas Season.
Orchestra
Mr Fricker would
like some new orchestra members. If your child already plays an
instrument and would like to join the orchestra, please speak to Mr
Fricker on Tuesday. Rehearsals are at 8.30 every Tuesday morning.
