Book Fair

As part of our Christmas Fair the school has, for the past few years, arranged to have a Book Fair. If the Book Fair takes over £600 then 60% of the value of this comes back to school in books. If you’re thinking of buying some children’s books as gifts this Christmas, or just thinking of buying something for your children to read over the holiday, take a look at what the Book Fair is offering. The Book Fair will open for a sneak  ‘preview’ the day before the Christmas Fair (Tuesday, 15th) at 3.15 so you can see what’s available and work out how much money you need to bring for books on the day of the Fair.

Lost Property

There’s a lot of lost property building up in school at the moment - it’s kept in the storage bin under the stairs as you come into school from the playground. If your child has misplaced something please take a look; it will all be disposed of during the Christmas holiday.

Music Workshops

In February the City of Westminster library service  is running two music workshops as part of a project to celebrate the music of Chopin and Schumann. The workshops will be held at the library in Buckingham Palace Road on Saturday, 6th February. There are two sessions - in the morning and the afternoon. Everyone’s welcome including complete beginners. Places are limited so, if you want a place, call Ruth Walters on 020-7641-4286 or email her:  rwalters@westminster.gov.uk.

Infant Nativity Play

Thank you to everyone who helped with the Infants’ nativity play last week: staff and parents.

It’s the Juniors’ turn this week on Thursday and Friday afternoon.

At the end of the Foundations Stage and the Infants’ Christmas performances we collected money for the West London Day Centre. There will be children rattling tins on Thursday and Friday too!
